After founding Mark III in 1976 as an electrical contracting firm, principals Mark and Tim O’Brien quickly saw the construction industry’s costly inefficiencies. Traditionally, commercial and industrial projects require several outside firms and a subcontractor for almost every trade. Project budgets must allocate profits for each vendor and contractor – and their administrative support – eating away at budget dollars that could be better spent.
