Abel keeping the community clean. |
Two crew members in the bright blue Power Inn Alliance truck diligently work four days a week removing trash and refuse, including noncompliance signs, to keep the area neat and attractive.
Over the years, many of the roads that were once remote have become a dumping ground for refuse and junk. The Alliance spends over $90,000 a year just to reduce litter and trash, keeping with the theory of taking care of the little things prevents bigger problems from escalating.
In 2010, the Alliance clean-up crew collected off the streets:
-
59 Mattresses
-
95 Tires
-
84 Shopping Carts
-
46 TV's and Appliances
-
154 Bags of Garbage from Granite Regional
Park alone

Many Alliance members support Clean Up and Beautification efforts through
Adopt-A-Road signs seen throughout the area.
