Part-Time Office Administrator/Bookkeeper (24 + hrs. per week)
Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper Job Purpose: Provides
accounting and office services by implementing administrative
systems, following procedures, and monitoring administrative and
accounting projects in accordance with Power Inn Alliance policies.
Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper Job Duties:
Greet visitors and answer multiple phone lines; directing both
callers and visitors to appropriate staff with poise and
Maintains workflow by studying methods; implementing cost
reductions; and developing reporting procedures.
Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing
operating practices, recordkeeping systems, forms control,
office layout, and budgetary and personnel requirements;
implementing changes as requested.
Resolves administrative problems by coordinating preparation of
reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive
maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining
equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Provides information by answering questions and requests.
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine
inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and
expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
Completes operational requirements.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending
educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing
accounts; posting transactions; accounts payable, accounts
receivable, delinquent accounts and deposits.
Maintains historical records by filing documents.
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and
summarizing account information and trends.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by
studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements;
filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as
Reporting Skills, Administrative Writing Skills, Microsoft Office
Skills, Managing Processes, Organization, Analyzing Information ,
Professionalism, Problem Solving, Supply Management, Inventory
Control, Verbal Communication, Accounting
Microsoft Office Professional Certification or demonstrated
Database management utilizing Access and Excel
QuickBooks Certified User
Keyboard 60 WPM
Bachelorís Degree in a Business Administration is recommended
Approx. 24 hours a week
