Part-Time Office Administrator/Bookkeeper (24 + hrs. per week)

Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper Job Purpose: Provides accounting and office services by implementing administrative systems, following procedures, and monitoring administrative and accounting projects in accordance with Power Inn Alliance policies.

Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper Job Duties:

  • Greet visitors and answer multiple phone lines; directing both callers and visitors to appropriate staff with poise and professionalism.
  • Maintains workflow by studying methods; implementing cost reductions; and developing reporting procedures.
  • Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, recordkeeping systems, forms control, office layout, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing changes as requested.
  • Resolves administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Provides information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Completes operational requirements.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
  • Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; accounts payable, accounts receivable, delinquent accounts and deposits.
  • Maintains historical records by filing documents.
  • Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications include:
Microsoft Office Professional Certification or demonstrated proficiency

Database management utilizing Access and Excel
QuickBooks Certified User

Keyboard 60 WPM

Bachelorís Degree in a Business Administration is recommended
Approx. 24 hours a week
